This Winter in Lanzarote we´ve had the most spectacular Sunsets due to the cloudless nice weather. Temperatures this winter have been a bit higher than usually, so we´ve had amazing sunshine the last months.

Thanks to its geographic location, Lanzarote has a warm climate throughout the year with an average 21ºC. Coldest months would be January and February with a minimum of 13ºC and max of 22ºC having an average of 19ºC, so it is a very pleasant winter.

There are many interesting spots to watch sunset in Lanzarote, as the mountains and landscape are very low it doesn’t interrupt the sunset view.

If you want to watch sunset hiding behind the sea, El Golfo would be a great option with great restaurants and also if you like hiking, there is an ideal route that starts at the end of the town walking through the volcanic rocks that merges with the Atlantic Ocean.

You prefer watching sunset from the mountains? You can also do that here, there are many ideal mountains to watch sunset from, like Volcan de la Corona located in Haria, north of the Island. One of the Top sightseeing would be along the Risco de Famara, a 15km long cliff at 670m above the sea level being the highest spot in Lanzarote.

What about a different experience? Watching sunset in a Chillout Terrace having some drinks before going to the Open-Air Cinema under the stars? Well then Rooftop is the place (See image above).
